The War on Our Own Citizens continues. More precisely, Britain's war on its own citizens has just been initiated. In an earlier article, I described the devastating effect that the Western governments' reactions to the July 7, 2005, London terror attacks had on the liberty and privacy of air travelers.

I've changed the tagline to this blog. "An extremist, not a fanatic" is intended to highlight a much overlooked distinction. It endorse A.J.P Taylor's quip - "extreme views, weakly held" - against the "passion" of our political leaders.

It's been almost 3 weeks since I came back from home, and I miss my family constantly. Sometimes, I envy my sister; she's only 45 minutes away from our parents. Of course, she's almost always twice as busy as I am and being older than I am, she ended up being a third parent. Okay, so maybe I don't always envy her.
